The Hop Yard

Karridale Cottages have been growing hops since 2015. We have planted a variety of hop rhizomes sourced from different growers throughout the southwest including standout varieties such as Cascade, Perle, Chinook, Nugget, Cluster, Goldings and the noble Hallertau.

 

We are always trialing different planting methods including plant-based propagation, which is proving successful in the US. Rhizome propagation will also be utilized in the near future as our hop-yard continues to mature.
